Before 2010 Midterm Elections, Pelosi and Reid Want Middle Class Tax Cut Votes

Before the 2010 mid-term elections, speaker of the house Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid want to bring a vote about Middle Class Tax Cuts to the floor of the House and Senate. This could be their move to bring some anti-incumbent sentiment to the GOP instead of mainly the Democrats.

Many voters are tired of the decisions that current leaders, in particular those in the Obama administration, are making. In particular, people grew angry over the passage of the controversial Healthcare legislation. Public options, loss of insurance coverage, limitations of insurance coverage, and forcing Americans to get coverage are all things that angered constituents.

The Bush Tax Cuts are set to expire, and the Democrats hope that this is their golden opportunity to turn voters away from the GOP. Many Republican leaders want to extend the tax cuts despite looming deficits and despite many provisions benefitting the wealthiest of Americans.

The Democrats are hoping to "make known" those who oppose simply passing middle class tax cuts without extending all of Bush's tax cut package. Sneaky move, but then again this is American politics.

The Midterm elections are only 60 days away - and many 99ers and disgruntled Americans are already plotting their revenge. With Obamanomics, the Tea Party Movement, and not to mention Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck stirring things up - it comes as no shocker that this economics is even more action packed than those of the past.

With the drama that is only felt during a Presidential election, the midterms of 2010 are turning out to be game changers. With increasing uncertainty about the country's economic future, dissatisfaction with the "change" that was promised two years ago it comes as no surprise that this November is crucial for all Americans.

Currently, the polls show the GOP leading over the Democratic party, and news headlines are centering on GOP friendly topics, such as the Ground Zero Mosque and the Arizona Immigration law. The downside for the GOP was their reluctance to pass the unemployment extension, however.
