Christine O'Donnell's Evolution clip aired on Real Time this Friday. Like the "Witchcraft" clip from last week, this is from Bill Maher's archives as he had her as a guest on one of his shows at least 22 times over the years. He's got a lot of skeletons in his closet, and he's willing to bring them out - until she agrees to do his show. The latest clip says that evolution is a "myth" and that if it were true, monkeys would still be turning to human beings. Now, the scientific community roared with laughter over the simplistic nature of her comments. Those with a more religious background may have agreed with her. However, she continues to be the topic of many jokes, and was even the first political target on Saturday Night Live.
Christine O'Donnell is undoubtedly one of the most widely publicized politicians, particularly because she represents the way that the Tea Party has really ballooned over the past two years. She beat a GOP candidate who was backed by the state's republican party in the primaries - and some including Karl Rove, suggest that she cost the GOP Delaware.
