Delaware Senate Race 2010 Results

Delaware's Senate race results were a crushing blow to Christine O'Donnell, who lost her bid for Joe Biden's former senate seat in Delaware. O'Donnell blames not the Democrats or her opponent Chris Coons for her defeat, but the division within the GOP.

The state's Republican Party was against O'Donnell and her camp had to work hard to win over the GOP supporters in the state. Had this time been expended working on Democrats and independents, she could have at least closed some of the gap that existed between herself and Chris Coons, the opposition.

The Delaware Senate race was one of the most widely watched races of them all. Christine O'Donnell was perhaps the candidate with the most media coverage and in the end winning the nomination was enough to catapult her in to superstar status. I'm sure we will see a book deal from her, and perhaps a radio/talk/reality show or two.

Arkansas Election Results 2010: Blanche Lincoln vs John Boozman Results

Arkansas Election Results 2010 Blanche Lincoln vs John Boozman - Incumbent senator Blanche Lincoln has lost her Senate seat in the state of Arkansas, falling to the GOP candidate after Arkansans voted against her, mainly because she's seen as a rubber stamp to Obama, especially when it comes to healthcare.

Blanche Lincoln held on to her party nomination by the skin of her teeth during the primaries.  Her ads leading up to election day featured a somber Lincoln pretty much begging Arkansans not to give up on her during election day.

However, John Boozman has become the Senator Elect for the Natural State, after his campaign successfully played on frustrations on the current administration.  Even with gaining this Democratic seat, the Republicans still have a long way before they can take power of the Senate.

What do you think of Arkansas Election Results 2010, Blanche Lincoln leaving office?

Early Election Results 2010 Are Available Tonight

Early Election Results 2010 Are Available Tonight. The early election results 2010 are anticipated. As some of the nation's first polls have closed, early election results 2010 will be rolling in a little later, and stay tuned because we will keep you informed.

Some of the key races are:

West Virginia Senate Race: popular Governor Manchin is going head to head with Raese for Senator Byrd's former seat.

Florida Senate Race: Kendrick Meek, the Democratic opponent stole some thunder from Crist, and it appears as if Marco Rubio will win this seat.

Prop 19 will legalize marijuana in California, in passed.

Alaska's Senate race will show if Sarah Palin's endorsement of Joe Miller worked with the Alaskan people, who have historically loved Sarah Palin.

Colorado's Senate race is one of the most expensive with $30 million of outside funds spent on the race.

The Delaware senate race is also key, as an upset by Christine O'Donnell isn't expected but would be welcomed by some.

The Illinois senate race will fill Obama's former Senate seat.

Harry Reid is facing strong opposition in the Nevada Senate seat race. Sharron Angle may just beat the Senate majority leader.

The Democrats are expected to keep power in the Senate, but lose power in the House.

Chris Coons Christine O'Donnell Debate Details

Coons O'Donnell Debate Details are available. Christine O'Donnell has become the viral candidate of the mid-term election thanks mostly to Bill Maher who has been releasing one video clip after another of the zany conservative until she agrees to come on his show.

Her admission of "dabbling in witchcraft" while she was younger took off and made her the joke of every political circle - even some of her own circles. It even prompted her campaign ad, "I'm Not a Witch."

Given that she's not exactly taken seriously, it seems as though Chris Coons would have a pretty easy time "winning" the debate. Wrong.

As reports are coming in about Wednesday's debate, the consensus is that there were no real, hard winners. Despite a 19 point lead, Chris Coons was very condescending of Christine O'Donnell...and if O'Donnell would have quit from punching so hard at her opponent, she may have walked away the winner. She even went so far as to call him a Marxist, and even slammed his personal wealth - which is far from relevant in the election.

Below is video coverage of the Chris Coons Christine O'Donnell Debate...what are your thoughts?

Karl Rove Slams Christine O'Donnell for Senate While Sean Hannity Defends

Karl Rove, Christine O'Donnell, and Sean Hannity are making headlines. After O'Donnell's Tea Party backed upset, Karl Rove took a step back from Republican unity and seemed to diss Delaware's GOP candidate for Senator. He said instead of gaining 8 or 9 seats in the Senate, with O'Donnell's victory they will only win 7 or 8.

A frustrated Sean Hannity tries to defend the Tea Party backed candidate, showcasing a divide that is all too common in the Republican party.

This could play out well for Democrats during the November mid-terms. Main street is tired of the partisanship arguing that goes on daily from the Democrats and Republicans, and with a rift in the GOP that could further add to frustrations.

Christine O'Donnell's victory in Delaware is said to be indicative of the Tea Party's influence on American politics. Whether or not she has enough steam to beat the incumbent for Joe Biden's old seat has yet to be seen. See the video below for Sean Hannity and Karl Rove disagreeing on Tea Party backed Christine O'Donnell.

Delaware Election Results 2010: A Delaware Primary Brings Tea Party Victory

Delaware election results 2010: A Delaware Primary result brings the Tea Party a victory, as their endorsed candidate, Christine O'Donnell will run on the Republican ticket for the mid-term elections for Senator of Delaware.  Whether or not this is good news for the Democratic party has yet to be seen.

Mike Castle, O'Donnell's primary opponent, has said that a win by O'Donnell would secure a loss during the mid-term elections.  There's no indication if she will even get support from the state Republican party! She's running against Chris Coons, who went without a challenger for the ticket.

O'Donnell remains the underdog in the general election, but we will watch closely to see what impact the Tea Party movement is having on the political landscape, especially during the Delaware election 2010.
