[NY] New York Election Results 2010 [GOVERNOR]

New York Election Results 2010 are available, and Andrew Cuomo won over Carl Paladino and **gasp** the "The Rent Is Too Damn High" party candidate, Jimmy McMillen. Cuomo won with 62% of the votes, and that's pretty much of a landslide when it comes to political races.

Carl Paladino was a bit "out there." He was a Tea Party backed candidate with very conservative views on Abortion and other controversial issues.

Andrew Cuomo seemed to "fit" the New York mold a bit better, and as such will be taking over Albany at the end of the current term. After all, his father, Mario Cuomo, used to be the state's governor so he does come from political backgrounds.

Carl Paladino winning the governor seat would have been a major upset in a traditionally blue state.

What do you think of the New York Election results 2010 for the governor race?

Nancy Pelosi Election Results 2010

Nancy Pelosi Election Results 2010. The congresswoman from California who was the nation's first female speaker of the house and dubbed "the most powerful woman in politics" has won another term in office.

Whether or not Nancy Pelosi will serve the term she won during the election results in California is another question. Last night, the GOP took control of the House of Representatives, and Pelosi is expected to pass the torch to John Boehner, who was the House Minority leader.

Boehner, the incumbent from a district in Ohio, gave a very emotional victory speech. It's not certain whether or not Pelosi will head back for another term, as when speakers of the House get ousted they typically bow out of politics.

Pelosi's downfall was the healthcare reform. Amid strong opposition from the American people, Pelosi still lead the way for its passage in the house. After that, the entire country joined together and raised money to oust Pelosi from her post.

What are your thoughts on the Nancy Pelosi election results 2010?

Georgia Election Results 2010

Georgia Election Results 2010 are in, and there were some surprises. In the Georgia gubernatorial race, Nathan Deal is the governor elect of Georgia with 53% of the vote. He narrowly avoided the 50% margin that would have brought him in to the necessity to have a runoff election.

Nathan Deal beat the Democratic Candidate Roy Barnes, who was Georgia's governor in years past. Although it wasn't a reelection bid, Deal beat out Barnes - although in California former governor Jerry Brown beat eBay CEO Meg Whitman.

In other Georgia election results, Johhny Isakson (R) beat out Thurmond Michael for the office in the US Senate.  This is another GOP victory.

Austin Scott beat out the four-term incumbent Democratic Congressman Jim Marshall. This was another shocking race which shows the anti-incumbent sentiment created shocking results.

What are your views on the Georgia Election Results 2010?

Washington Election Results 2010: Could Rossi Beat Murray?

Washington Election Results 2010: Could Rossi Beat Murray? The Washington Election results are some of the most difficult to determine in the nation, as the state votes by mail-in only. The Senate race between Dino Rossi and Pat Murray is one of those pivotal seats that the nation is watching for the US Senate.

The GOP has staged some upsets in states such as Kentucky, but the Democrats have avoided crushing blows in the Nevada Senate race. The "Face of the Tea Party" aka Sharron Angle, was defeated by incumbent Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

Right now, it appears as if Pat Murray could win over Dino Rossi. This is still a close call, and we could be watching this race for several more hours.

Stay tuned for more information on the Washington Election Results 2010 to see what the outcome in the Senate race between Dino Rossi and Pat Murray is determined to be.

Pennsylvania Election Results 2010: SENATE Pat Toomey Beats Joe Sestak

Pennsylvania Election Results 2010: Pat Toomey Beats Joe Sestak. The Pennsylvania Election results 2010 for the Senate seat is that republican Pat Toomey won over Joe Sestak in the heated Senate race.

The White House didn't want this to happen, but similar to how Ron Johnson won over Russ Feingold in Wisconsin.

The anti-incumbent sentiment is running rampant, but perhaps not rampant enough to allow Carly Fiorina to head to Washington to represent California. Barbara Boxer is the incumbent and is a Democrat, so it appears as if California is staying BLUE.

However, Pennsylvania is unique. The incumbent changed parties, and then lost the nomination during the primaries after being painted as a flip-flopper.

However, the GOP picked up the Pennsylvania Senate seat.
