Iran Stoning: An Adulterous Woman's Son Fears Execution After Ramadan
Right now, the Muslim World is under the Holy Month of Ramadan, and as a result, these types of executions don't take place. However under Islamic law the executions can resume after the holiday is over.
However, it will soon be over and Sakineh Mohammadi-Ashtiani could be executed soon. Her son hasn't been able to speak to her since she made a public apology in August.
Click here to find out what politician's wife an Iranian newspaper said deserves to die.
Many believe that the "apology" was co-erced from the Iranian government.
There has been international outcry over the potential stoning. People in the western world don't understand why something such as adultery would warrant death. People in Middle Eastern societies want the western world to leave them to their own devices.
Ironically, she's being put to death for adultery but only received a 10 year prison sentence for participating in her husband's murder.
A female journalist has said the following of Ashtiani "Sakineh is the symbol of all the women who are tortured and assaulted in prison in Iran. I hope international support, as well as obtaining Sakineh's liberation, will open the way to a change in this situation."
What do you think of this Iran Stoning situation?

Iranian Newspaper Claims Carla Bruni a Prostitute, Deserves to Die
The "prostitute" claims stem from the supermodel's active social life before she married the French president. Many believe that she's the reason that Nicolas Sarkozy divorced his former wife.
Bruni is far from alone in demanding the clemency of the woman in Iran sentenced to death by stoning. Many within the international community do not think that the crime warrants the punishment.
The French Foreign ministry spoke out about the comments, and the Iranian government has publicly backed away from the comments made by the state-run newspaper.
I must say I was shocked when Iran called Carla Bruni a prostitute. My jaw hit the floor when they said she deserved to die...

Iran Nuclear Program could Signify Doomsday?

The Iranian nuclear program has garnered a lot of world attention. Iran ’s nuclear program is taking place despite wide opposition from the UN. After several sanctions, Iran loaded the nuclear reactors in their power plant and now have the chance to enrich uranium.
Aiding Iran is Russia – one of the US ’s adversaries. Of course, relations between the US and Russia have improved slightly since the end of the Cold War era, but there’s still a lot of animosity between the two countries.
The Australian reports about the probability that a nuclear Tehran could signify doomsday. They indicate that an opinion piece on the daily Ha'aretz which reads “There is an 80 per cent probability that within nine months to two years from now the Israeli home front will absorb 1000 to 20,000 losses.”
The cause of the losses are expected to be from retaliation from Israeli missile strikes on Iran ’s nuclear program.
Iran doesn’t currently have a nuclear weapon, but with every bit of enriched uranium they get they are just all the more closer. It’s a scary time for the world, don’t you think? DO you think we are on the brink of World War III?
